Dr. Suzanne Mary Demming, MD

I saw Dr. Demming for a second opinion for eye floaters in both of my eyes. In the middle of my consult with her she received a text on her phone from someone she didn't know. She stops and asks her assistant if she knew who the text was from. This went on for several minutes while I'm sitting there in disbelief. The assistant was on her phone trying to see if she knew who the person was and finally they texted the person to ask who they were and then waited for a response. The doctor was completely distracted from me and my situation and this was so unprofessional. There was no reason that this matter could not have been dealt with between patients. She was very flippant about my eye floaters as well. I am well aware that floaters are benign and most people can live with them, but mine cause blurry vision and difficulty reading and driving. I wouldn't be taking my time and money to see doctors if they were not bad. She thought I was crazy to even think of having the surgery… to remove them. No compassion or understanding at all. My co-pays are $75 and I am sorry that I picked her for my second opinion.

Dr. Deming has been treating my eye for macular degeneration for about 3 years. Her Persona and treatment procedures rate tip tops in my opinion. As of May 3rd I decided to change doctors as a result of treatment by staff. On Wednesday May 2nd I received injection in my eye. I recieve one of these injections every 6 to 8 weeks and have for the past nearly three years. I've never had any major discomfort from the shots. On the evening of May 2nd I had severe pain in my eye and considered that it may be resulting from pressure or some other cause. At approximately 4 in the morning I called the office hoping to get an emergency response. I did get a response from someone who I think maybe was dr. Deming herself not sure. Anyway the person told me to be there on Thursday morning no later than 7:30 and I would be treated Promptly. They specified that I must be there by 7:30, I was there by 7:20 a.m. . At approximately 5 minutes to 8 I asked the lady who had examined my eyes the previous… day, I think she was in training, if the doctor was in and could I see him. She said the doctor was in but I was an emergency case and emergencies are only treated as work ins whatever that means. I politely told her not to worry I would not be back. I thank Dr Deming and other members of her staff for their courteous excellent service. Thanks again John . Bryant

Dr Demming is treating my elderly mom for macular degeneration. The treatments are unpleasant, but Dr. Demming and her staff as kind and compassionate, making a difficult situation as tolerable as possible.
