Dr. Suzanne Flapan, DO

Dr. Flapan is one of the few truly compassionate physicians that has ever cared for me and my family members. She is a gifted doctor in her intelligence, her ability to explain things, and who really cares.

Dr. Suzanne Flapan left Ramapo Valley OBGYN in 2015. Though there are other good doctors in the practice, there is no one who compares to her.

Initially she was great but I left her practice because of one incident. At an emergency visit due to pain, after an intra-uteral ablation, she spoke loudly in the hallway and in front of other patients about my medical issues and was very dismissive about what was happening with my pain. My son was born with this practice and during this visit (with my 5 year old son in the room) she asked me if I was having sex with other partners! The audacity. Stay away from her the other doctors are nice.

dr flappan made me feel comfortable and i was very very happy with her and the way she treated me i did send my friends to her and they all approve of her and her caring attitude some people think a certain was but for me dr flappan was a wonderful caring helpful person that i was very happy to go to now i have noone to go to i cant find her or i would be happy to go to whever she is

I went to this office for 7 years. For 7 years I dealt with rude office staff, condesending doctors and limited to no communication/follow-up. The treatment only went downhill as they realized I was not likely to become pregnant (which is their bread and butter) During my 2014 annual check up something happened during my visit that was a new low for this doctor/office. I have never been made to feel so useless, dumb and insifnigant by a doctor. We instill my trust to our doctors... I will never again trust anyone from this office for what the doctor and a couple of the office staff put me through. We are in a consumer's market, and I no longer choose this level of care

At first I was happy to switch to this practice but as time went on I found all doctors to be sarcastic and inexperienced. In my ninth month they put my life and my baby's life in danger as well as probably causing me a infection I was told might not let me have future children. I should have listened to myself then asked them for anything .I did even look into the law on this situation as I was totally made to feel incompetent when I told them what was going on.

Doctor is pleasant. Calling and dealing with their rude staff isn't worth it. More than once they have told me they called in my prescription and never did. Always given an attitude when I call about any sort of thing. HORRIBLE STAFF, avoid this office.
