Dr. Suzanne Michelle Harold, MD

Rude, condescending, curt. It’s obvious that she does not view the people who pay her salary as people who are worth her respect. I dreaded going to Dr. Harold and it was a huge relief when I moved and got a different doctor who speaks to me and treats me like a person and not an annoyance or inconvenience.

I only went once and I left and just cried and cried....then I canceled my follow up appointment and didn’t go back. First off, the office staff is snotty and rude!! They need some lessons in how to talk to people. Then her PA was so cold and disconnected. I tried to be friendly, but she didn’t look up from her computer and she never smiled. I was having trouble with my hormones and I’ve gained weight and Dr. Harold was curt and condescending. She said I should eat less and exercise....duh!! She was so rude and acted like I was stupid- yet both her PA and nurse were very over weight! They didn’t get her message. She was just so condescending and acted like I was just a stupid woman who eats too much- she didn’t acknowledge my issues or concerns. She even smirked- I was like- did she just roll her eyes?!!! It was horrible. It took me months to get the courage to go to the doctor and then I was treated like it’s all in my head and I’m a moron- but they keep calling me for a… follow up!!! Crazy.

As long as you go in and have no problems-it’s all good. When there is one, she doesn’t like it and can become curt. Idk why. Actually told me I needed to get an anti depressant -making me think I’m crazy. If your numbers are normal, it doesn’t matter how you FEEL.

Not happy right now, how long does it take to pick up the phone and call insurance and do a pre authorize a prescription? But they can call 4 times to remind you about an appointment.

First time meeting her and when husband had questions, she would get defensive and argue. She sat by a window and i caught her rolling her eyes, not once, but 3 times as husband was speaking. We were there for his diabetes, not to be treated in that respect. There was a physicians assistant with her, and was just as bad. We will not be back, and will not recommend her to anyone, and would talk someone out of her.

First appointment with her, she felt very condescending when speaking to us. I actually caught her 3 times rolling her eyes and shaking her head when we did try to ask questions or explain things. Made us feel like we were wasting her time as well as ours. Her bedside manner is bad, I would not recommend her to anyone, no one needs to be subjected to treatment like that.

Today was my first appointment with Dr Harold. She was very caring and easy to talk to. I had a lot of questions and she answered every one. I did not feel hurried at all. The rest of the staff were also very kind.

My doctor had let my A1c run 9-11% for years. Then I met Dr. Harold and within 3 months , it was 6.5%. She and her office staff taught me more in a few weeks than my primary care did in 8 years. I am lucky to have met her.
