Dr. Suzanne Marie Lamanna, DO

A good employer manages to keep their employees, when you go to a business and the people there are never the same, that is not a good sign. I assume she does not treat her employees very well, just like patients. I usually have to wait over 30min, sometimes an hour, just see any provider. The office is chaotic and not a pleasant experience. Unfortunately she is the only one that takes me insurance, otherwise I would be far far away from this office.

I have had problems with other practitioners in the past because I am DEAF. My captioned telephone calls take a LOT of time!! THIS group practice is very patient with my needs and has given me the BEST service I've had in many years!! I give them an unqualified super good "grade"

I have been a patient of Dr. Lamanna's since about 2009. During that time I have found her to be extremely knowledgeable, caring, and empathetic. As a healthcare professional myself, I tend to be extremely critical of those whom I see for health care but I really have only positive things to say about Dr. Lamanna's practice.

I was with Dr. Lamanna's office about 2 years or so and NEVER seen Dr. Lamanna except the one time she came in to check on her Trainee Physician and she still didn't speak with me about my visit. Her Trainee Physicians, Nurses and office staff where all awesome. The one PA whom is not a licensed Doctor nor a Psychiatrist diagnosed me as having Anxiety (even put it in my records) because I was mad that she had left me in examining room for over an hour which had made me late to another appointment. A second PA also told me I would always be a diabetic in a nasty vindictive like tone because I refused to take the medicine and wanted to do it through diet changes. Diabetes CAN be changed.

Dr. Lamanna is my PCP. I have been overly satisfied with each and every visit to Dr. Lamanna's office. Both her, and her staff always greet myself, and every guest with a smile. Dr. Lamanna, and her entire staff act with the utmost professionalism and care, and the environment is very clean and nice. Likewise, you can tell that both the clinicians and the entire office staff actually "care" about every patient they treat. Dr. Lamanna is always there to help, and always there to listen. I myself, as an aspiring Physician assistant, would recommend her to my family and friends, and in fact have done so. Everytime I call, or write, to her, I always hear back from her in a very timely manor. The staff is caring and professional. Dr. Lamanna and her PAs are smart and eager to educate patients about how to treat an illness or condition, not only what they can do but how a patient can help themselves. I am impressed with the level of care, concern and education I always receive.

For 15 years, I have been crazy about Dr. Lamanna. She addressed my concerns thoroughly, and gave brilliant suggestions. The long waits in the exam rooms were worth it. She always answered my after-hours emergency calls. She had great Nurse Practitioners. Her nurse Darlene is perfect with follow-through. More recently, my health concerns have been complicated. She might be too hesitant to refer to specialists, and trying too hard to tackle everything herself, which results in frustrating and stressing her out. Be prepared for medical students who are shadowing her to do your exams. She always has new nurses. I haven't felt connected with her more recent NPs. During this past year or so, she has been complaining about insurance companies not compensating her for her time.

Smart, kind and attentive. These qualities are important! SheS got them.
