Dr. Suzanne Marie Loiselle, MD

Dr. Loiselle is my daughter's pediatrician since she was born and she is now 14 years old. She is always there for us and she is always right and she connect very well with my daughter. Very smart woman:-)

She is AMAZING..highly highly recommend Dr. Loiselle.

Dr. L'oiselle has been my son's pediatrician for 10 years, since he was 3 weeks old; she was recommended to me by a close friend. I chose her because I was not satisfied by the level of care we received at a larger practice. Those doctors didn't remember us or our baby, even though we'd seen her just the week before! I wanted a doctor who forms closer relationships with her patients, one who remembers each of her patients' medical histories.Dr. L'oiselle spends time with her patients and their (sometimes frantic) parents. She patiently and *thoroughly* answered ALL of my questions until I felt I truly understood what was happening with my son and could help make informed choices about his treatment.She is equally attentive to parents as she is to her patients. As a new mother, I felt that I didn't know what I was doing, and had a few "freak outs" over what turned out to be part and parcel of caring for a newborn (infant acne anyone?) Regardless of how "uninformed" my questions were,… Dr. L'oiselle took the time to explain things and calm me down, without *any* judgement; she treated me with so much respect, and never made me feel incompetent. I remember I said at one visit that she should put a big red "N" on my son's chart for "neurotic mother." She replied that she didn't mind my questions at all and that was what she was there for--she said I could call anytime, and she meant it.I almost cried (well, maybe I did, a little). As a harried insecure mother, the fact that she was so reassuring really helped me to gain confidence (and competence).Her diagnoses are spot-on--never a wrong diagnosis--and since she took the time to explain the problem and treatment options, I felt like I could help make decisions--she was willing to listen to my description of events, and didn't rush to conclusions like many doctors who often ignore the mother (or father) who know their child best. For my son, he loves her--always has a smile for her and, even though she gives him those "horribly painful" flu shots, is still happy to see her. As he got older, she listened as carefully to him as she did to me, and began directing questions to him about how he was feeling. This is a doctor who wants to get a thorough understanding of what is going on before she comes to a diagnosis; she never made a snap judgement that she shoved at us (which was my experience at the larger practice I initially tried). By the way, if your child has to go to the hospital (as mine did for a few days) she is equally attentive and checked in often. Her handling of his treatment there was just as rigorous as her office visits.Sadly, we are leaving Dr. L'oiselle this year because at my son is becoming more concerned with "privacy" and will be more comfortable with a male doctor. I wish it were not so, because I will REALLY miss Dr. L'oiselle, probably more than my son :)Obviously, I can't say enough good things about Dr. L'oiselle. If you want a terrific doctor with undeniable expertise, patience (with both children and parents), who will always remember your child and his/her medical history (so you don't have to rehash it every time), and who will not push you out of the office, or let you leave until you feel confident that you know what you need to know, then Dr. L'oiselle is the doctor for you!

We have been going to Dr Loiselle with our 3 kids for 4 years and she is the BEST pediatrician. I would travel far to get to this office. She is down to earth, has great perspective on pediatrics, and is a pleasure to see. She has seen us immediately to avoid sending us to the ER, she has referred us to excellent specialists (allergist, etc) and my kids love going to the doctor because they love her! crazy, right?

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Loiselle. She is professional, caring, easy to talk to, and is everything we were looking for in a pediatrician.

She's great. My son loves her. She's gentle but firm and calls me back (not the PA) the same day soon after I leave a message. Office is efficient. Have nothing but praise. Glad I found her.

My husband and I cant say enough good things about Dr Loiselle. Despite how busy she may be, she never seems hurried or disengaged. You can tell by the way she handles your child just how much she loves children. With us parents, she is kind yet firm when it comes to providing guidance (i.e. sleep training, feeding habits). As the other review had said, she is very witty and quite knowledgeable about her area of expertise. We have recently moved from NYC to NJ and are just so sad to be losing Dr Loiselle as our son's doctor. If I could convince Dr Loiselle to move, I would.

Dr. Loiselle is fantastic! She deals with my child in a professional and charming manner. I have a curious child who likes to ask a lot of questions and she takes the time to answer every question, from my child and from me. Her replies show that she is informed and current. Her staff are courteous and friendly. Overall, a great pediatrician!
