Dr. Suzanne Lynne Lubarsky, MD

My husband and I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Lubarsky monitoring our 2nd high risk pregnancy. I have multiple extremely large uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, I'm over 35 and on our 2nd pregnancy gestational diabetes. She is clear in communication, confident and thorough. Our 1st child was delivered naturally without any complication at full term, although we felt prepared for any scenario because of the information we received at our prenatal visits. I'm not necessarily looking for bedside manners from a doctor. I want someone who is direct, takes time to explain and then confirms that we both understand. She has always been wonderful and we are fortunate to have such a quality practitioner on our team. Her assistants have also been wonderful people to work with- you can tell that they care.

it upsets me to se Dr. Lubarsky get a bad review and to each their own. You have to remember that people that see her are usually in a stressed fragile state and worried about their babies which is understandable. I was a surrogate mother in 2004 with twins. I can't tell you how understanding and caring Dr. Lubarsky was with myself and the parents. yeah, she doesn't have the cuddly cheerful giddy voice, but she is a doctor and a specialist. I work at a doctors office and each of my docs are different. One that doesn't have the best bed side manner is one of the best in Portland. they take their jobs seriously and are hard working. they come in and do their very best and don't have the time to chit chat about the weather but take the time so you get the best care. Dr. Lubarsky was very honest and direct with my parents (of the babies), which is what they needed. They would come in with a list of questions and she would listen and answer every one. We had a couple of complications or… scares I would say and she was compassionate and did everything she could, even telling me i wasn't leaving her office and i was going directly to the floor to be admitted and watched closely. She gave us excellent care, excellent advice, and understanding especially for our unique circumstances. you are never going to get 100% positive feedback and not everyone is going to click, but make that judgement for yourself. I am thinking about being a surrogate again, and i would go back to her in a heart beat.

Dr. Lubarsky was the most inconsiderate and horrible Doctor. She has horrible bedside manners. I can not express enough how terrible she is. If you would like good care, good advice and understanding I would not got to her.

I was a high-risk pregnancy(over 40), with twins one of which had fatal abnormalities. Dr Lubarsky was someone I trusted to help me through some difficult decisions. Her caring and professionalism cannot be lauded enough. She is amazing.
