Dr. Suzette A. Garofano, MD

Is one of the best Doctors I have ever seen and I have seen many at NYU and elsewhere. She is caring and always , always, responds to written questions on My Chart plus sends in scripts immediately. She is a real asset for NYU.

Dr. Garofano and her office are fantastic! Everyone is very pleasant and I was seen promptly. Dr. G went over my scans with me on her computer, explaining everything. I feel I'm in good hands.

Dr Garofano is an outstanding physician, a wonderful lady - gentle, beautiful bed manners, really interested in a patient and her/his wellbeing, takes her time and calms you down. I wish there were many more doctors like dr Garofano! Dr Garofano checked me out thoroughly, above and beyond her own speciality, and clearly, plainly, for anyone to understand, explained the chest x-ray and CT scan. She, also, called home to explain the blood test results, what their meaning was and what the further testing needed to be done. It confirms once again that the patients do much better when their doctors show empathy for them. Dr Garofano is an asset to the NYU Langone Health and to all her patients, who were fortunate enough to have her as their doctor.

Compassionate, communicative, efficient, accurate, confidence-inspiring

Dr. Garafano is one of the very best doctors you will ever meet. Incredibly smart, perceptive, knowledgeable, caring. She truly loves her profession and helping people. Going to her you can be assured that whatever she says is correct, whatever she recommends should be done, whomever she refers you to is a good doctor, and that she will get to the bottom of whatever your health issue is. I want to also give kudos to the young man (unfortunately don't know his name) who performs lung function tests in her office. Dr. Garafano and her team are all people for whom medicine is indeed a true calling.

Dr Garafano is one of the most caring and kind doctors I have come across. She goes out of her way to make her patients feel comfortable and explains everything to her patients. I just wish there were more doctors like her

In all of my years of going to many doctors I have never met such a caring,patient,compassionate Doctor as Dr. Garofano. I would not only recommend this doctor to any friends and family members but I would even recommend her to the President of the United States of America. She is very brillant and does everything and I mean everything in her power to help you. On many occassions I have been close to death with little or no hope of survival, because of her deligence, patience and because she really cares I am alive today. She is truly a angel sent from heavon above. She is a god send, I wagered my life on it.
