I saw Dr. Aminova on advice from my surgeon after talking to her about a knee operation that was still draining. She immediately scheduled me in and within hours and a complete examination of the area determined that with the amount of surgery needed the drainage looked and was most likely normal. She scheduled me in for the following week just incase my situation did not change and luckily the appointment was not needed. She was very concerned, explained everything very clearly, and took the time to make sure I understood everything. I would highly recommend her.

Dr.Aminova along with other doctors in her group took care of my brother when he was admitted to the hospital for septic shock. Dr.Aminova really took the time to communicate with our family regarding his condition, and assured us that the treatment plan she set up for him involving IV antibiotics was the best treatment for his condition. After discharge, we contacted her office to set up a follow-up appt. and had no problem getting in right away. Furthermore, he developed a complication to the antibiotic and the staff at her office was very informative and helpful to the situation, which was right away communicated to the doctor for direction. I absolutely recommend this doctor and her staff.

Dr Aminova took care of my husband when he was very ill. She was very patient with me as I had many questions and concerns. Dr Aminova was the only physician who got my husband better again. I would only see her for any infectious disease in the future.

In my honest opinion this doctor and her staff does not care about her patients at all. Very unprofessional and if you need to talk to Dr Aminova, get in line. She's only there for 2 hours on Thursdays, and never returns my calls. Not sympathetic at all to important medical conditions and one of the receptionists is completely rude and doesn't care at all.

After going to dozens of doctors and hospitals in southeastern Michigan area for about eight months, having multiple cats scans, MRIs and spinal tap, all coming back negative. I decided to see an Infectious Disease specialist. I went into Dr. Aminova's office with symptoms of burning arthritic pains in my wrists, sciatica, head pressure, headaches, food allergies, dizziness, and fatigue. I told Dr. Aminova how I've been dealing with headaches, dizziness, head pressure and fatigue for about eight months, just recently the burning arthritic pains started. With doing my own research on the web, my symptoms matched up with a Canadian website about Lyme disease called CanLyme. I suggested to her that I could have Lyme disease from fishing at Stony Creek or Kent Lake. I told her I'd like to get tested, she said that's no problem but "it's very rare to get Lyme disease in Michigan." After few days passed, my test for Lyme came back negative, however another bloodwork test came… back positive for parvovirus. By the time I got these tests back I had read a lot about Lyme disease and watched the documentary "Under Our Skin." I called Dr. Aminova by phone about the tests, she said "the good thing is you don't have Lyme, but you do have parvovirus. With time, this virus will just pass through your body and you'll be back to normal." I explained to Dr. Aminova that I don't think I have parvovirus because the symptoms are getting worse and I've already had these symptoms for a year, if it was just parvovirus I would be back to normal by now. I also explained to her how Lyme disease tests can come back false negative. Dr. Aminova immediately responded back "no they don't, the tests are 100% accurate." After that I knew she wasn't up to date about Lyme disease and explained to her it's been well documented in newspapers, medical journals, and even by the CDC that the tests can come back false negative. I asked her if she's going to treat with antibiotics are not? Dr. Aminova said "no, you just have parvovirus and with time the virus will be clear from your body." After Dr. Aminova said that, I suggested that I'm going to seek another opinion by a Lyme literate doctor. That's when she got really defensive and suggested that those doctors practice wrongful medicine and they are bad doctors. I was kind and said thank you for seeing me, I'm going to see a different doctor, then hung up the phone. After seeing a LLMD and getting a more advanced Lyme disease test through Igenex labs, my bloodwork came back positive for Lyme. It's really sad that so many Infectious Disease doctors are not up to date with Lyme disease. If Dr. Aminova would've done her research she would know that the standard Lyme disease ELISA test are inaccurate and that Lyme can lower your immune system so old viruses like parvo will resurface, which end up being a co-infection of Lyme. Virginia just recently passed a bill where doctors have to inform patients that Lyme tests can come back false negative. And it's horrible that these doctors are still saying that Lyme is rare in Michigan. Lyme is not rare in Michigan, I haven't talked to some of my family members for a few years. After my family members learned of my disease, my uncle came forward and told me how he had been gotten bit by a tick and got the bulls eye rash, which advocates an infection of a Borrelia Burgdorferi infection. Right now my aunt is suffering from fibromyalgia, arthritic pains throughout her whole body and she believes she has Lyme and is about to get tested. A friend of a friend got bit on Harsens Island 10 years ago and temporarily went blind from a Lyme disease. We have also met other people through friends that are dealing with the disease. If I hadn't done my own research, I don't know where I'd be right now. I'm currently disabled due to physicians not being literate about the disease. But I am slowly getting better through a LLMD.
