Dr. Svetlana Beskina, DO

I've had the same sort of anxiety problems since kindergarten. I've seen consistent psychological and psychiatric help for over a decade, so I've tried a lot of (unsuccessful) medications. Once my previous psychiatrist retired, I brought a letter from him listing all medications I had tried while under his care, in hopes of a better success rate. From my first monthly office visit with her, she maybe made eye contact with me four times during the 10 minutes I was in her office. The rest of the time, she jotted down notes on paper (what those notes were, I have no idea, because she barely asked me anything other than the obligatory "How are you?" and "Are you seeing a therapist once a week?" and "Same pharmacy?"). Anything she could have made a diagnosis from, I volunteered the information myself (simply because this is not my first rodeo). I finally had enough. I managed to ween myself off one of the medications she had me on (I actually feel better now that I'm off it!!).… I'm still working on weening myself off the other (because she had me on max dose which made me have severe muscle tremors for 6 weeks!!). Pick someone else in that practice or find someone else. You will not find empathy, attention or a pathway towards feeling better with Dr. Beskina.

Dr beskina is really some kind of wonderful she has helped me for the last 3 years very attentive and extremely concerned not to mention very compassionate of my well being. After suffering from years of depression and anxiety she truly helped me live a normal life. Honest and truthful advice. Extremely recommendable!

I recommend this Doctor. If no one can do it she can.

No compassion towards patient.

You can count on short and concise visits. Medication administration and nothing more. The office staff are courteous.

Dr Svetlana doesn't spend any time diagnosing the issue and is just interested in giving medication. I hope he spends more time with patients than just pushing them out in few minutes with a prescription.

I called for an appointment to schedule a psychiatric evaluation for my son who has ADHD. I wanted to have reassurance that my son does not have a secondary diagnosis. After going through the intake process. I received a call back from her office informing me that the doctor could not help me. Really? Her profile states she treats adolescents with ADHD but wouldn't help my son. Why is she a child psychiatrist? My experience was terrible. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.

I was thinking about going there they called to take all my info and then told me I wouldn't be a good fit because k don't want to be treated by medication .. Real nice. I'm suffering from depression and anxiety after trauma in my life and they refuse to see me? That's disgusting
