Dr. Svetlana Borisovna Ten, MD

Dr. Ten is very through in her analysis and helps me understand tests results with patience. She was able to normalize my daughter's hyperactive thyroid function without surgery after another Doctor told us my daughter would need surgery to fix the problem.

She’s great doctor. She really help me and I trust her my health.

Dr. Ten keeps appearing and disappearing. One day she will be at Maimonides, one day she will be at an office near Coney Island and sometimes she will be at two other offices somewhere else in Brooklyn. Two of her offices closed without warning in a 6 month period and the only way I found out was when I show up for my appointment to either have the office tell us that she no longer works there or the office was dark and completely cleaned out. I keep getting calls telling me that she is now at this office or that office. This really has me thinking that she is an illegitimate doctor because I have never had a doctor do this and if you were legitimate, why are you closing and opening clinics on a constant? My mom and I had to spend so much time tracking her down which was hard for us to do since I was 16 at the time and have to be in school and my mother runs her own business. In that same year, I got a call from one of Dr. Ten's office asking me if I would participate at one of her… studies in an out of state facility and that it would last a month long. I said that I have school and that I would not be able to and the person on the phone asked me to ask my parents. My parents said the same thing I did but the person on the phone was persistent so my dad said that the only way he will allow me to go is if he and his friends accompany me. The person on the phone said no, this is meant for me and I have to go alone...I was under aged...why am I travelling out of state alone for a study? Dr. Ten is highly unprofessional and treats her patients like a joke and I would never allow anyone I know be one of her patients
