Dr. Swachitha Kothapally, MD

Dr. Kothapally is great and she is very compassionate about her work. I would recommend anyone to visit this practice, very caring staff.

Dr. Kothapally has been my PCP for six months, and I have had nothing but good experiences while being under her care. She is down to earth, very friendly, and truly cares about her patients. Unlike most doctors that I have seen in the past, she actually communicates with you and answers your questions in ways that you can understand. She always gets me in and out of the exam room quickly, but never in a way where I feel like I was rushed out of the door before I could even discuss my concerns. She is very thorough, and quick to respond whenever I have a question about my medicine or my lab work. She really makes you feel comfortable while you're in the room with her, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new Primary Care Doctor.

Most unprofessional and incompetent medical office!!! Don’t waste your time going to this clinic. In all the 4 or 5 visits, we never saw the doctor, only her Nurse Practitioner. Each time we were waiting for results, they would not call you when they said they will. You have to follow up a few times for a few days before someone, usually a medical assistant who has no medical knowledge, will call you back and literally read the notes the Practitioner made. If you ask them to explain in laymen terms, their only response is that they are not doctors and we need to make an appointment ($$$). You can never get past the assistants. If you are not careful, they will make you take tests and sneak in charges for things you do not need. We clearly told them we wanted the minimum required tests covered under the annual wellness exam. They took additional tests without telling us what it was for and charged us. Another time, after having taken some blood tests, they never called back with the… results. Luckily, I was back in the office the following week and asked the front desk if they can upload it (the assistant just reads off the reports anyway, I can do that on my own). She said the nurse I will be seeing will give me a print out of the results. Once I’m done at the exam room, the nurse didn’t know she had to give me the results. I don’t understand how they work. And they had only 1 other patient, so it wasn’t like they were busy. Last week, I had gotten an exam done at the hospital (as per their orders) and waiting on the results. The other hospital had confirmed that my doctor/nurse practitioner should get the results on Saturday and to check on Monday afternoon. I called several times on Monday, each time being transferred to a voicemail. Then, when I called again at 4:30pm someone tells me the actual doctor is not in the office until the next day and she is not sure if the nurse practitioner is capable of reading the results!?!?! Once I asked why no one told me this when I had called earlier and if someone else can review the results, she said she will check and conveniently got disconnected. When I called back, someone else told me the doctor will not be back until Friday, but the nurse practitioner is capable of reading the reports. She said they all have been busy all day and the practitioner hasn’t gotten a chance to look at her desk. But, she assured me I would get a call back by the end of the day or at the latest Tuesday afternoon. As usual, Tuesday afternoon came and no one called. When I followed up, I was told the practitioner has yet to read the reports. Finally, someone did call and read the notes. When asked to explain since she was reading a diagnosis that I heard for the first time, she said she is not a doctor and I need to make an appointment. Frustrated, my husband called back and asked he speak to the doctor to give them constructive feedback. Instead, they went back and forth, then said she can transfer to the doctor, who was actually the medical assistant. She then tells me that she has said she was sending me a list of specialists because it was out of the scope of primary care. When I asked why she told me to make an appointment to get an explanation if she clearly knows there is nothing they can explain, she had no answer.
