Dr. Swathi Sri Vanguri, MD

I've been Dr. Vanguri's patient for a few years. She's a great OBGYN. However, today I was turned away from an appointment because I was over 7 minutes late (walked in 9 or 10 minutes late). Being late was my fault, and I should have called, but I'm not a habitually late person and had my reasons (one of which was walking for 10 minutes through the maze of Crozer Hospital). I'm very patient when a doctor has long wait times because I realize there are very valid reasons; the same courtesy should be extended to me.

Without having a thesaurus handy I can not say enough good things about Dr. Vanguri. I had more than one serious medical issue ongoing when I first was treated by Dr. Vanguri. She was nice, caring, concerned, and thorough regarding my OB issue. Dr. Vangurii explained everything that I needed to know to make an informed choice of my options. Everything was explained so that a non-medical person could understand. She even drew me a picture of what was found by an MRI. Fantastic person.

I really like Dr. Vanguri. I'm pretty sure that every woman hates going to the gyno. I love how comfortable Dr. Vanguri makes me feel. She's so friendly and cares about her patients. If you're looking for an OB-GYN, I would really recommend her. I think she's really busy with patients because it's hard to get in for an appointment sometimes, but it's probably because she's created a good patient-base. Unfortunately the front desk staff are the type that laugh and joke with each other, while pretending not to see you waiting at the counter.

I love Dr. Vanguri!!! She has been my Obgyn for years and I have been with her through two child births. She has a wonderful spirit and vast knowledge of her field.
