Dr. Swetha Lahari Kommareddy, MD

I chose this DR to follow my Type I Diabetes as my provider was retiring. I have had type1 diabetes since I was a child; 40+ years. I am not new to this. I had a couple of appointments with her. Found her narrow minded and lacking in knowledge of inner circle colleagues ie: physicians who treat related complications such as retinal specialist. Her attitude and facial expressions were demeaning (nearly eye rolling & tissing) very uncomfortable . Too bad was hoping to find the right fit to guide my self management here. No such luck. Look elsewhere. If you can't confide in your physician it is not a healthy relationship.

I a.ways hold the highest rating in reserve. This doctor, one of so few lately, read my labs, explained those to me, laid out options and. MOST of all gave me the time. I so appreciate her!

Pick another Dr. Go out of your way to not see Kommareddy. Refusal and failure to treat patient accordingly. No regard if you are in physical or emotional pain. Stand offish nature,not personal. A waste of your time and it will seem that you are a waste of hers.ty.

I am so grateful I was referred to Dr. Kommareddy regarding the lump I felt on my neck...she went the extra mile and chose to do a biopsy even though the recommendation from the radiologist was to wait 6 months and repeat the ultrasound...turned out that little lump was thyroid cancer. Now scheduled for a total thyroidectomy...sooner rather than later. Caught early thanks to Dr. Kommareddy.
