Dr. Syed Parvez Ashraf, MD

I disagree with the low ratings. I find Dr. Ashraf to be highly skilled, and he has always addressed my concerns thoroughly. His style is direct, which I appreciate, and he has always been respectful. I think some people are entitled and like to be coddled when there is no need or time for that, so they resort to writing negative reviews.

Dr Ashraf is a poor physician, actually the worst I ever experienced in over 40 years.

Regret being assigned to this provider following admission to Hillcrest. We were not impressed with his ability to accurately listen and effectively respond to my needs. This is why I am not following up with him.

Rude, condescending, unavailable, and makes horrible medicial decisions affecting serious health issues.

This man is very pompous. He feels that he is entitled to talk to the parents any kind of way because he is the only child neurologist in Tuscaloosa. He is very unprofessional and is more concerned with pushing drugs on your child that benefits him and pharmaceutical companies than listening to parent concerns and doing what's best for the child. I have gone to him for over 3 years for my child, but now I am standing up because my child deserves it and as a parent, I know what is best. To tell a parent to "find a dr that will listen to you" let's me know that he thinks less of his patients because of his 'dr' status.
