Dr. Syed Waqar Hasan, MD

Dr Hasan seems to only want to push certain medications. Does not know how to treat mentally ill patient. Refuses to learn anything about patients history and insisted upon prescribing two medications for which patient objected because of previous side effects and experience. Doctor did not care about history and came up with new diagnosis after 1 minute, different than other doctors who have seen patient over a long term. Seemed to want to justify pills. Patient was uncooperative and doctor had in deemed incompetent. Sad to see this type of care.

Despite writing prescriptions for discharge medications this provider refused to respond to pharmacist’s drug interaction question/concerns. This delayed treatment and shows a lack of concern for patients’ safety and convenience.

Would not recommend. He is only there for the money. When the chips are down, so is your time with him and his direction for improvement. He is a pill pusher and nothing more. He creates appts. just to write prescriptions.
