Dr. Syed S Jafri, MD

So let's start off with the staff, they are rude and soon as you walk in. I came to this office for a year now and no matter how many times or in what language I greet them they NEVER respond. Good luck trying to get a call in, they NEVER pick up the phone. Moreover, Dr. Jafri's wait times are ridiculous you can have an appointment for 11 arrive 15 minutes early and still not be seen for hours. Not to mention the consultation is brief and repetition of my family history every time for a year. My next appointment will be my last.

2nd VISIT- SO I WAS SENT TO THE MRI TODAY AND WHEN I GOT OUT I HAD A HEADACHE AND MY CALLS WERE NOT RETURNED SO I WENT IN PERSON WITH THE CD FROM THE MRI I WAITED AN HOUR BEFORE I SAID SOMETHING. AND FINALLY WHEN HE MET WITH ME IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE ROOM I TOLD HIM THE MEDICINE HE GAVE ME IS NOT WORKING AND WAS FOR DEPRESSION, WHY WOULD HE GIVE ME THAT IF I NEVER SAID I WAS DEPRESSED. HE SAID SO TAKE 2, HE SAID DO I WANT THAT OR ANOTHER MEDICATION THAT IS SPECIFICALLY FOR SEIZURES TO TAKE MY PICK SO HE CAN SEND IT. . SO I SAID WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO DURING THE DAY, HE SAID YOUR TAKING EXCEDRIN MIGRAINE RIGHT. I SAID YEA. HE SAID JUST TAKE THAT. I SAID IF ITS LIKE THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE CAME. I ASKED HIM IF HE COULD READ MY MRI DISK THAT I WAS IN A LOT OF PAIN. HE SAID NO HE HAD OTHER CLIENTS. I TOLD HIM I WAS THERE AN HOUR WAITING. HE SAID HE COULD NOT ATTEND TO ME. I HAD TO WALK OUT.

I saw Dr Jafri years ago but it was a very pleadant and professional experience.

a great Dr. , accurate and precise, great manners, more than just a dr. but a good human being.

Instructed his emergency personel who answer the phones that migraines do not qualify as an emergency. Therefore when i started have bad side effects from his medications I didn't feel comfortable calling his hotline. Even though I felt like i was going to have a panic attack or a heart attack. And even though migraines are covered under the americans with disabilities act he thought i should be able to work at my job as a pressman where there is continual loud noise. So I am very sick and cant even find help from a doctor to help me get SSD which I SHOULD have got 4 years ago.
