Dr. Syed A. Raza is a fellowship-trained interventional radiologist with more than 15 years of experience providing minimally invasive, image-guided treatments. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and the Royal College of Radiologists in the United Kingdom. With extensive experience in vascular and interventional care, Dr. Raza specializes in the treatment of vein disease, peripheral arterial disease, dialysis access, venous access, and a variety of oncological conditions.

Experience & Expertise

Dr. Raza previously served as an Assistant Professor and Chief of Interventional Radiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where he trained residents and fellows in advanced minimally invasive procedures performed under imaging guidance. In 2006, he moved to Houston and later served as Chief of Interventional Radiology at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital. His …academic career has included research and publications in leading peer-reviewed radiology journals, and his innovative work in modified percutaneous approaches to TIPS and transtracheal airway stenting has received recognition within the interventional radiology community.
