Dr. Syed Abdul Sattar, MD

He has been very good and caring. Takes care of my husband and I. He truly cares and is one of few people I trust

Dr. Sattar wants to give you information but doesn't want to hear your input to help diagnose problems. His famous rude words is SHUT UP!! This is unprofessional and unexceptable as a Dr. communicating with his patients. I am concerned with his temperment with a hug following which I can do without.

Test results from an ultrasound recommended a needle biopsy of my thyroid. Dr. Sattar totally missed the recommendation and if my gynecologist had not alerted me, I would not have had him reread the report. And yes, it was cancer! I would have had it for an additional year had I not pointed it out to him. If that wasn't bad enough, he later ordered a colonoscopy and coded it improperly, as if it was a diagnostic test for a known problem rather than a routine test. This ended up costing me almost $500 out of pocket until I appealed it to my insurance company and they refunded the charge. He then fired me as a patient and to add even more insult, made me pay to have my records transferred to a new doctor. Save yourself the grief and select someone else.

Overall he is a great doctor, I have never had problems getting a referral out of office. He gets to the problem and if something more he sends u to someone who can help. The only negative is the wait time hebis good first thing in the morning and after lunch. Although he spends as much time as needed with every patient so he tends to get behind. I have been seeing hime for 20 years and will continue to see him. He actually gets bn on me for not hoing to see the gyn for my yearly check up and not getting my mammogram on time. As for reviewing the test results he always goesbover everything with me. I do agree he is too much into his questionnaire in reference depression bit je is trying to prevent any ill feelings and make a patient feel better.

Dr. Sattar is incompetent and has a God complex. He curses at patients and refuses to coordinate care with specialists. He even refuses to discuss test results from other specialists. He should not be allowed to practice medicine.

He is an awful Dr. I would not recommend him to anyone. Hr doesn't listen and got angry for me seeing a specialist and claimed "he is a smart man have him figure it out". I went in to get a clearance for ovarian surgery and he was yelling I have phobia and wondered why my blood pressure was high. Waited in a waiting room for over an hour when I was second patient of the day. He was more concerned about me losing weight than any of my abnormal labs and asthma symptoms. He is awful and suggest no one going to him.

At this time have not been hospitalized.He is understanding, patient, does appropriate follow-ups, knowlegable and concerned about his patients in my experience.in his office. Bedside manner is from the experience of others I know.who recommended him.

Dr, Sattar used to be be a good doctor. I have been going to him for over 15 years and now he's arrogant and thinks he's God! He does not listen to you, he tells you how you feel. A case of a sinus infection turned into you're depressed take this medicine! I know several people that go to him and all say if you don't come every 3 months whether you are sick or not he gets very angry! He does not want you to go to a gynecologist, psychiatrist, neurologist, foot doc etc. He is money hungry and wants all money to stay with him! If he sends you to a specialist you can bet that doc. will be from India also. He also charges blue cross and medicare for services that he never rendered to you. He is like Jekyl and Hyde, one time you go and he's nice and the next time he's a tyrant! He treats you as he is superior and you are below him all the while hugging you!

I'm not Dr. Syed Sattar's patient so i can't rate him in regards with his practice.BUT i can definitely rate his staff specially the one who is in charge in answering the phone.She SUCKS! no good manners and right conduct in answering client,very rude i don't know whats her problem thou, is she in drugs or financial problem or sumthin ..common! Dr Syed..u need to watch those people who work for you,they're suppose to make a good impression for you.
