Very knowledgeable, a day makes sure your questions get answered. Yes you do have to plan on waiting a while, but that's because he takes his time and makes sure things are addressed. Will see you more often than the normal, once a month to once every 3 months thats normal, if needed.

Well this is like the 4th time I've tried to write a comment and it does not let me submit it without hitting a star this man is a sadistic egotistical misdiagnosing patients I suggest if you have to go to Jennie Edmundson go somewhere else instead if you get this Dr sattar don't even look at him run and if you really need help you won't get it fast.= they sucked up my insurance for five days because most of their patients are on Medicaid and booted me out I only saw the man for literally one minute a day and he put me on an anti-psychotic drug Risperdal that is caused stroke symptoms for 5 years now the episodes used to come and go but now they're coming back even more frequent after 5 years man should not be practicing on human beings he is not a godly man at least not our God

I fired him after he refused to put more than 2 refills on a medication I’ve taken for 2 years. He has such a high number of patients, it’s almost as though he just wants you to be in and out of his office as quickly as possible. Wait times are sometimes up to an hour, as well as a room full of patients. Not to mention, he will NOT refill a prescription without you coming in for an appointment ($$$$$).....which is unecessary if I’m on the same meds and don’t need to change them. A waste of my money and time for a 4 minute conversation and waiting around. The nurses are rude and I’ve gotten into an argument with one nurse about how many refills I should have had and she told me I had stopped taking my medication when I clearly was still taking it. The way this place operates is with a goal of making more and more $$$, not improving the lives of others that need it. I feel as thoufh he could have helped me and my conditions if he would have worked with me in choosing the medications… which I feel have worked in the past. Instead, it was just a race for him to get you out of his office to see the next patient.

I was literally on death's doorstep. Dr. Sattar & his staff saved my life! I will agree, it is a long wait time to get to see him however, that is what I get for seeing an excellent, dependable, KNOWLEDGABLE, and caring doctor.

Takes his time. Listens, even when he has a heavy schedule. Trick is to get an early appt because PATIENTS have a tendency to go over time limit. Saved my life. Adjusted my meds as needed. Very careing doctor.

I believe he over prescribes RX but it's us who have to open our mouths and speak up on that matter other than the fact that he's a busy Dr he IS very caring and personable.

Excellent doctor, listened to me and my concerns, at first, I didn't agree with him, but he explained patiently why he was diagnosing and prescribing the meds. Office wait time was long, but worth the wait.

Almost always wait 1.5 to 2 hours in the waiting room.

I showed up a half hour early for an 11AM appt. to fill out paperwork. At 11:30 AM he called from Jenny Edmondson Hospital and said he would be another hour to one and a half hours at least. This egotistical Doctor wants 24 hours notice if you are going to miss an appt. or your get billed 100% for a missed appointment. He must think he walks on water. Even if he did I wouldn't put up with this. I walked out and encourage you to do the same.
