Dr. Syed Imran Shafqat, MD

I used Dr Shafgat for past three years and for that time period its been extremely hard to get any information from the office. Phone calls not returned ,question not getting answered. I brought this problem to him personally and it never got any better. I have decided to change doctors because of the very poor communication.

Dr. Shafqat has been my doctor for 10 years. He truly cares about his patients and will seek to get the answers to your issues. He takes the time to listen to your concerns.

Excelente service and very professional, interacts with his patients and ive been tus patient since 17 years. His the best doctor and i would not trade him for another doctor.

Excellent doctor. He is sincere and speaks with you during your visit, taking his time to meet/discuss/evaluate. He was able to find several of my issues that I had and come up with an action plan for me. He was also able to help my husband as well.

Very good doctor, but his staff needs improvement. However, it is hard to see him, other doctors in the office are pushed on you when you specifically want to see him. Getting refills phoned in to the pharmacy is a hassle, never there when you go to pick them up. Office never calls to tell you why, you have to track them down and you are lucky if they answer the phone.

Making appointments is difficult. The office is often booked when you need to see a doctor, and often you can't get an appointment for a week- by that time your illness is over and there's no reason to see a doctor. Wait time is ridiculous. I've often had to wait an hour in the waiting room, and then another 20 minutes in the exam room to see the doctor. He often asks a couple simple questions, looks in your throat and ear and makes a diagnosis without letting you explain in detail what's going on, writes a script for an antibiotic and sends you on your way after spending 5 mintues with you and charging $150 for the visit. Twice I've had to go back to another doctor because the meds prescribed were ineffective. This other doctor diagnosed a different conditon and presribed different meds which ended up being effective. In short, not recommended.
