Waited 30 minutes in the waiting room and then 2 hours in the exam room. Dr Lord blew off questions I had about a previous infection I had and didn't even want to listen to my concerns. He joked with the nurse about how much I jumped when he "examined me", started heading for the door within 5 minutes of walking in and curtly told me to "eat more apples" before the door slammed behind him. For that he charged $250.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lord's for over 16 years. I have had 2 surgeries by him. I am grateful to be alive. I am grateful for his skills. At age 36 I developed a precancerous tumor. I had just given birth to a new baby...he was 4 mos old the day I had my1st surgery. I was afraid of everything at that point. I was afraid of the surgery, the results, even the chance of dying. But, I was never more at ease once he talked with me. He answered my concerns and made me feel comfortable going into the surgery. I adore his entire staff. Starting at the check-in desk, all the way to the check-out desk. His nurse "Ruth" is wonderful. I am confident I am in good care at their office.

The doctor told me I had cancer. He walked out because he had not reviewed the PET scan before i arrived and left me there crying and afraid. Out in the hall he was laughing and joking and even went in to see another patient. He told me I needed a colostomy and that it was really no big deal. Very insensitive although obviously a very skilled surgeon, not a good practice, Poor follow through from the office as well. Took MD an extraordinary long time to dictate office notes.

I have seen Dr. Lord 3 times in 3 weeks. I have waited over 2 hours to see him. Today, after waiting 2 hours, I was told I would have to reschedule because he had a surgery. I will never go back.
