Dr. Sylvester Odeke, MD

Wish I didnt have to give any stars! Total jacka@@!! Won't listen to you, won't give any actual diagnosis. He simply belittles you. Can't even understand half the sh!t that comes out of his mouth. Tells you one thing, then writes up his notes afterward. My cancer doc read his notes and was shocked by what he wrote. Info was of no help. He is unwilling to work with other doctors to decide methods of treatments. Doesn't actually give you any advice. No wonder he is a traveling doctor. Otherwise, he wouldn't have any clients, we would all be on to him. He really needs license revoked!!

The most offensive appointment I've ever been too! He was rude ignored my systems! Said he was going to prove me wrong! I never said I knew for sure! Wanted test to verify accused me basically a hypochondriac! Told me if proves I'm wrong, would I believe him? And felt I wouldn't smoke for the test so it would be skewed! The medical exam was extremely inappropriate! He should not have a medical examination!

If 0 stars was an option I'd choose that. I chose Dr Odeke because he is a Black physician and thought the reviews had to do with racism. However, Dr. Odeke provided absolutely horrible, traumatic "care", and put my life in danger ignoring a massive tumor that I could feel externally. He gaslit me, his staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional, and he hindered my access to care. From my experiences, I feel strongly that Dr. Odeke hates women. He missed a LEMON sized tumor on my parathyroid that was causing clunking that I repeatedly begged to be looked at. His pathetic excuse of a "treatment plan" was for me to read a religious book called, "Blessing or a Curse, You Can Choose"..... Not only is it listed that I am an atheist on file but I paid him for medical advice not religious indoctrination. I have never felt so hopeless than at this office. I reported him and left to see a competent specialist. I highly recommend Dr. Wcislak at UCH. Save your money, time, and health and go… *literally* anywhere else.

It's unbelievable how health care systems hire this nomadic doctor, who just keeps moving around the country, without checking the numerous negative reviews online, some submitted by health care workers, including physicians. This guy has mental health issues and should no longer be practicing.

I am physician. Went for a visit in Colorado with Dr. Odeke. He is a disgrace for the medical profession. He should get his license removed. Doesn’t know medicine, apparently being passed from state to state as a temporary doctor, no medical knowledge, treat patients with disrespect. He is the worst I ever seen in my field. I have been in medicine for more than 30 years.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a doc, and I've seen plenty. He refused to listen to me, wouldn't believe I had well-documented allergies, and refused to consider prescribing the formulation I'm not allergic to. He appeared not to have any knowledge of typical symptoms of Hypothyroidism, as I have fatigue, dry skin, hair falling out, weight gain with no dietary or activity changes, and a TSH of 26, but in his documentation, he said I have no symptoms. He was incredibly rude, abrupt, and dismissive.

Very arrogant. Not willing to partner in your health care. Refused to read my typed list of questions which the nurse asked to make a copy of (an attempt on both of our parts to make the best use of our time together). Said he'd rather just have me ask them. When I did, he said why are you "quizzing me" and why do you want to know these things? DUH. So I can get my health back? He did not examine me or renew my thyroid med script even though that was the purpose of my visit. Be forewarned: He knows NOTHING about Celiac Disease. I was diagnosed 10 years ago via small bowel biopsy and HE told me today that I do not have Celiac Disease. OMG. Total waste of time seeing him. Thank GOD he is just a temp in Sheboygan, WI. and hopefully will never return! Perhaps this is why he is a Temporary Endocrinologist? I know there is a shortage of Endos, but God have mercy on the patients in the next city/clinic he ends up in.

Doctor Odeke was a visiting doctor in St. Cloud when I first went for further thyroid checkups. He was funny, personable and very thorough. He drew me diagrams of what my thyroid is doing...or not not doing. I wish he could be here all the time but he said he had to get out of Minnesota before winter because of the cold. I teased him that he’s a chicken....lol.

I am so glad that my doctor referred me to Dr. Odeke. He is a gentle and personable doctor who listens to the patient before he makes his decisions. I appreciate that.
