Dr. Sylvia Jean Flores, MD

This was a few years back when I thought going to a woman doctor was important. Certainly not my thinking today. Went in for an annual exam. It was my first and last time as her patient. Throughout the entire visit, we were interrupted and she left the room at least five times. The last time she returned, she said we ran out of time and I should make another appointment. I said I didn’t get my annual exam. I said we were interrupted a number of times. How is that my fault? She was unsympathetic and I had to leave. I called my provider at the time to register a complaint. The provider said There were other complaints like mine about Flores. The provider had to send my complaint to Flores and get her response. Her response was a shock. It wasn’t professional or apologetic. She not only did not acknowledge my experience Or even try to explain the circumstances. Instead she replied, she didn’t know what I was talking about. Then she said that her assessment of me was that I was mentally… unstable. Seriously. She’s a horrible person.

She is never on time, and she didn't show up at the hospital... so I had my baby with a nurse!! And she said she was late because she had guests... and I still need to pay for her fees!! it is crazy..

I love Dr. Flores. She has been my ob/gyn for nearly twenty years, and although I've never had children, at every annual visit she has taken the time to ask how I was and treat me as if she really knew me and cared. She has consistently shown compassion and sincerity and has diagnosed and prescribed treatments accurately and effectively. I would highly recommend her to any woman who was looking for a highly skilled and compassionate healer.
