I was in my worst time 4 years ago I went to see this “dermatologist “ I had blisters all over my body ,face,mouth and scalp she saw me told me that If I dint get retuximab infusions that I was going to die ( I was scared )at the time I did not have insurance I was working on it in a meanwhile I needed something to relieve my pain she prescribed some prednisone and I asked if there was something like a cream for my skin blisters or my mouth she said nothing just go to the store and buy Vaseline months later another dermatologist prescribed me with oral solutions and creams I just don’t understand why she never told me, I dint know i was not an expert that’s the reason why I think she is the worst dermatologist I’ve ever seen If you need to see a dermatologist go to a different one she will not help you she thinks she knows everything but she doesn’t , she did not care that I was in pain .

Very poor bedside manners during the whole visit, and gave incorrect information on medications and illness. Visit was not helpful at all, and had to go see another dermatologist in the area.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hsu for over 10 years. She was the first dermatologist to accurately assess my plaque psoriasis and prescribe a medication that actually worked. She is a great doctor, very easy to talk with, and very thorough!

She is a busy doctor but has always given me the time and attention needed. She is courteous but not overly personable. Sometimes after you go into the exam room, the wait can be quite lengthy to see her. I have confidence in her diagnosis and care. I would recommend her.

Terrible all around experience, dr Hsu doesn't listen, office manager is terrible. Bad accounting practices.

Diagnosis was very accurate

I have been seeing Dr. Hsu for the past 6 years for psoriasis. Over the last 20 years I have seen 6 different dermatologist and she is one of the best. She was actually referred to me by another dermatologist that told me he did not treat psoriasis. What puts her over the top is the fact that she speaks with you about you condition and not at you about your condition. She always asks questions about the specific nature and nuances of my condition and makes the visit professional. Dr. Hsu has always been very through during my visits and is able to put my psoriasis into remission for extended periods of time. As long as she is practicing in the Houston area and she maintains her level of care and commitment I will continue to see her. I live in the suburbs and sometimes it is a long drive but in my experience she is worth it.

Dr. Hsu failed to introduce herself, did not provide any useful information, was impersonal and aloof throughout the entire visit, and failed to mention anything at all about my skin except that I had sun damaged skin. She was, however, very happy to bill my insurance close to $300 for the privilege of spending less than 5 minutes with me. Go somewhere else.

I have been seeing Dr. Hsu for a while. I went to see her because the previous dermatologists couldn't help me. I see what the previous reviewer means about Dr. Hsu's assistant. Her assistant was not nice to me either, but I heard that this assistant was let go. Dr. Hsu was the only one who made the correct diagnosis and got my skin problem under control. I had been misdiagnosed by my previous doctors.

I had an allergic reaction to some medicine that prompted my visit with Dr. Hsu. My initial visit with her was pleasant. When I went back to her as a walk-in patient b/c my skin irritation came back, her assistant chastised me for coming in for such a small problem (my seven skin lesions of an inch in size each were oozing again and my lips started to blister and swell)and for messing up their schedule for the remainder of the day. Dr. Hsu went to her computer and didn't acknowledge me at all during her assessment. She then tells me that "you're really short" when I told her my height and weight. When I went in for my follow-up visit three weeks later, I found out from her colleague that Dr. Hsu diagnosed me with something several weeks ago...she apparently neglected to tell me. Dr. Hsu also told me that there would be nothing else she could do for me if my skin irritation came back.
