Dr. Sylvia Kim

Been Dr. Kim patient for years. She has done 2 surgeries on me and I couldn’t be happier with her care before surgeries and after surgeries. She will be doing another in the near future and we have discussed in detail what the treatment plan is for the next one, So if any complication's Arise we will be prepared. All complications are not of her fault just my body’s reaction due to underlying health issues. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Kim is unusually sensitive and caring, she had extensive knowledge of my issue, she explained the problem and the options in depth. When initial testing results weren't what I had hoped for she took me aside, told me not to worry, that there was a more elaborate test that could be performed which would require surgery if the test that I was undergoing didn't work out. She was the third GI I saw, the first two merely took notes and referred me along. Dr. Kim is an excellent doctor.

If you are at the point of needing a colorectal surgeon, you need someone who cares about your outcome and is committed to resolving your issues. That was not my experience with Dr. Kim. Research other options - even if it means driving to Charlotte or Augusta. Good luck.

She was my surgeon after chemo and radiation. She is not only a wonderful caring doctor. She is a skilled surgeon and very knowledgeable. She speaks to me in a way that I can understand what's going on.
