Amazing doctor I've been going to her for years she takes her time with each patient and explains everything thoroughly. Definitely would recommend Dr. Velarde

She is very professional, caring, I drive 35 miles to see her and would hope that I never would have to go to another doctor but her.

I loved the Doctor and Staff. Dr. Velarde took her time to explain and made me feel very comfortable. The MA was also very friendly and asked me questions about my history but also helped me feel very comfortable. The front desk girl was very friendly and I must say the office is very clean and so People friendly. I would recommend my Family and Friends to see her.

Dr. Sylvia K Velarde was very knowledgeable and did not hold anything back from the multiple questionnaire that was awaiting my visit. I left very complacent with my overall experience. As i can be very bashful at times the staff made me feel very comfortable-almost felt like home. Looking forward to my new journey having her as my new Gyno.

Dra Velarde found the blood on my cervix nobody found Her care /experience and eager to find have been making her the best gyn Without her discovery probably i would have cervix cancer at this time

I went to Dr. Velarde because she had delivered my daughter 11 years ago. I called to make an appointment to confirm my pregnancy and after being placed on hold for 40 minutes I was finally scheduled. I am a self pay patient and as any other I asked how much the visit would cost. I let the lady know my last menstrual cycle and scheduled my appointment. 1 week prior to my appointment I called and asked what the appointment would consist of, she explained the doctor would ask questions and do an ultrasound to confirm. I also again confirmed the fee. 3 days prior to my appointment the office called me to verify my last menestral cycle and she confirmed my appointment to confirm pregnancy, she reminded me of the few. Today I arrive at my appointment where I was greeted 10 minutes after arriving and of course had to pay up front before even filling out paperwork. Once I was taken back about 30 mins after the assistant was clueless about my visit, once I told her I was pregnant she said she… needed to change my room because they never had my appointment as a prenatal pregnancy confirmation appointment; I said I had no issue waiting. After waiting 10 minutes another lady walks in as if the matter was hilarious to her that they needed to charge me double for the visit because they had it wrong. I’m appalled at the disorganization of this practice. I run 2 medical offices and this absolutely unacceptable. I was told to walk to the front to get a refund, not even an apology. Needless to say I will not be returning to this office, I wish them the best.

after getting an appointment for the 19th and being told they accept Medicaid now I call to confirm my appointment time and am told that they don't accept Medicaid. Honestly try to avoid this doctor. If they don't know what insurance they take I can only imagine what misinformation they will provide you during your pregnancy. Very bad experience.

I am a new patient of Dr. Velarde and my first visit went well. I had an IUD removed but wasn't informed that several weeks of bleeding and clots were possible. I called the doctor to get BC a couple months later. Due to I didn't have insurance, ahe declined calling in a prescription. It is now Jan and the bleeding continues. I went to the ER and was cleared of any possible concerns and was directed back to my doctor for BC. My insurance doesn't take effect until Feb and again the doctor won't help unless I pay her over $100 for a 5 min consultation and script. Unfair and disappointing.

Excellent physician! Dr. Velarde has great bedside manner and very personable. Her staff is super friendly and is always very accommodating. I always have a great experience going to the office - she sees patients on time and spends the perfect amount of time explaining everything to her patients.
