Dr. Tad Johnson grew up in the Ogden area. He spent his elementary years on the Ogden bench, then later moved with his family to Hooper. After graduating from Roy High School, Dr. Johnson enrolled at Weber State University where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree. He completed his dental education at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska graduating at the top of his class and receiving the Academic and Clinical Excellence Award. Dr. Johnson earned his two-year orthodontic specialty training in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Marquette University. While at Marquette University, Dr. Johnson served as Chief Resident and earned a Masters degree in Biology.
After completing his Orthodontics residency, Dr. Johnson worked for a local clinic for 10 years. Dr. Johnson has owned his private practice since 2001 and currently has offices in Roy and West Layton.
Dr. Johnson is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, American Dental …Association and Utah Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Johnson enjoys golfing, skiing , ATV riding, and spending time with his family.

Dr Johnson is a kind and patient professional. He is an expert in his field and continually works to keep his knowledge and skills updated and current – something that is very important to me in a dentist. He is honest and a perfectionist in his work. Dr Johnson’s customer service is exceptional! He has a warm personality, is good with people of all ages, and genuinely cares about the health and complete satisfaction of all his patients. In my consultations with him, I have found him to be a good listener who is willing to spend the time needed to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend Dr Johnson to everyone!

Amazing job. I get compliments on my teeth all the time. I was nervous for braces, but Dr. Johnson and his staff were so knowledgeable and nice that they made it fun. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I don't usually like to leave reviews. But I must say I have been totally satisfied with the fantastic results my son has received. Dr. Johnson is very skilled as an orthodontist. You can tell by talking to him that he excelled when he was going to Orthodontics school. He explained everything in detail. I felt he was very knowledgeable with what needed to be done to move certain teeth in the right direction with special techniques. The office staff was always friendly and outgoing. The office with clean. Which is a bonus to some of us clean freaks. I promise you that your family will see great results by going to Dr. Johnson. I will always give him 5 stars. His skills are impeccable. He even showed us a picture of him working on a BRIDE's mouth the day she was getting married to fix some wires. Now that is DEDICATION! Thank you Johnson Orthodontics

You won't find better results! Yes, there's a difference in quality treatment and Dr Johnson is the best!

Dr Johnson is the BEST! His staff is friendly and helpful, and the price is very fair, especially considering the quality of his results. He's now treated my 2 kids and myself. I have 1 more that will start treatment soon. He's truly a great professional.
