Dr. Taeho Kim, MD

Fantastic PCP. About 20 yrs ago my GI MD said it is important to get a PCP who is good before (s)he becomes well known. He recommended Dr. Kim. My husband, adult daughter, & I have been patients ever since. He is great. He has an extremely calm demeanor & explains things thoroughly. My husband had a TBI & was treated at Johns Hopkins. The specialists stated they could tell he was a good MD from the files he forwarded. He also does acupuncture. My husband benefitted greatly from it. Since Dr. Kim now has a limited practice, it is probably difficult to join. Try your luck or ask to be put on the waiting list. He's worth it.

Excellent Doctor. I have seen him for last 7 years. Always listens carefully, takes time to understand my symptoms and make a recommendation. Dr. Kim is also extremely accessible, the 'closed/limited practice' nature of his office makes getting appointments, speaking to Dr. Kim, and contact with the office very easy and convenient. I would highly recommend Dr. Kim. The investment in his practice is not inexpensive, however it is a very good value. The only negative would be his front desk staff. They are not of the quality of Dr. Kim, and can sometimes be abrupt or distracted. However, because the practice is so small, and Dr. Kim is so accessible himself ( cell phone, text messages, email etc)- the front desk staff is not terribly significant to the overall patient experience.

Same day appt possible which is unheard of these days.

Vary knowledgeable and explains in language easy to understand

I visited him for one month. He insisted I had a flu. I was getting worse and worse. I needed two operations, but everything was more painful and complicated because Dr. Kim made me lose one month. He did not answer my emails and was obnoxious after he knew I had my first operation.

Knowledgeable, open minded - accepts suggestions and debates in a polite manner his professional opinion. Takes time to explain what he thinks you have and his suggested treatment; careful about the side effects of the medication. Talks toooo fast and sometimes you can't fallow all he is saying.Good doctor, won't disappoint you.
