Dr. Taemin Hwang, MD

Dr Hwang is an excellent physician who really listened to my concerns about my condition. I saw him in urgent care at the Capitol Hill D.C. Kaiser Permanente, and he took his time to explain things thoroughly and to consider my medical history and experiences with previous medication. He was knowledgeable, very attentive, unhurried, and personable/relatable. And he was open and genuinely wanted to tackle my medical condition with all the resources possible. Because of his compassionate care, I got the medications I needed right away and experienced my first good night's sleep that night after 2.5 weeks of interrupted sleep due to itchy and inflamed skin caused by a severe allergic reaction, which had persisted despite already having undergone 2 weeks' worth of oral steroids. I highly recommend Dr. Taemin Huang! To be honest, he's better than my current primary care physician. The wait to see a physician in urgent care was quite long (about 3 hours), but it was worth it because of… Dr. Huang.
