She was concerned, clear with the plan, detailed with the description of what will take place, and thorough with what my responsibilities are with other Drs to see and when I need to call back to start my treatment.

Dr. Altoos took her time explaining my diagnosis, treatment options and plan of care and what to expect . Very compassionate, knowledgeable and skilled physician. I thanked my primary care physician for recommending her for my cancer treatment.

I am writing in behalf of my brother who is a stage 4 bone cancer patient who has come to Dr. Altoos to manage his radiation treatments. Naturally, this diagnosis has been devastating for him and his family. After a month's hospitalization, his visit to Dr. Altoos was so comforting to him. He was so impressed by how he was treated by everyone in her office and how kind and helpful she was; she explained the course of treatments he has ahead of him. When I called her office to talk to her more specifically about his prognosis, she quickly called back and gave me more info than I have had since he was first diagnosed three weeks ago. Furthermore, she offered to follow up with the oncologist who will begin to offer hormonal treatments following the radiation.. She was both kind, humane, and competent, qualities not often found in today's complex medical system that often overwhelms a patient when a serious diagnosis is made! I highly recommend her.

Dr. Altoos was incredibly professional and competent. She spent as long as I wanted to answer all my questions. I thoroughly enjoyed my treatment with Dr. Altoos and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great radiation oncologist.

She is AMAZING! She is the best. By far, the scariest thing I've had to go through in my life. So happy I went to see her. She, and everyone at Lykes Radiation Center are the best! I need more than 5 stars!
