M. Ali Siddiqua Dr. Akram is amazing Gyno Specialist. I would like to give highest rating for the amazing work she doing. She handled our second baby from day one still the baby did her first visit to Ped. She has amazing patience to hear all your concerns and gives best advise based on the situation. With Silo of experience behind I believe she treat all patience with outmost care and humbleness. I wish her best for all her work and pray for her success. Lastly, Thank you Dr. Tahira Akram Ji!!!!!

Zero stars!!!THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ....I WAS SO NERVOUS BECAUSE OF FIRST TIME......ITS HORRIBLE WHAT REALLY ENDS UP HAPPENING TO US SCARED NERVOUS MOMS....NOT OK!!!

Sucks to have went through what I did, hopefully others dont have too, I ONLY SPEAK TRUTHS, AND YES IT WAS PART OF MY CHOICE BUT WHAT ENDED UP HAPPENING TO ME WAS 100% SICK & UNETHICAL TRUST ME I LEARNED THE HARD WAY ....I DO NOT RECOMMENDED

I have a heart condition and severe morning sickness, which makes me a high-risk pregnancy. She prescribed meds not covered by my insurance and never sent a new prescription, even after the pharmacist contacted them multiple times. I saw her every two weeks and told her the sickness makes me unable to eat and drink and my heart condition is worsening, the dizziness and chest pains becoming more and more frequent. She repeatedly talked over me, argued with me, and basically did not treat me AT ALL. I got the nausea meds from my primary instead, and I am 5 months now and JUST BARELY returned my pre-pregnancy weight. I told her repeatedly that I am not strong enough for labor and needed a C section, as it would put too much stress on my heart. She said she needed my cardiology records, WHICH I BROUGHT IN. She didn't even take or open the envelope. At this last appointment, I asked that if she wasn't going to treat me or help me, she needed to put me on disability because I CANNOT WORK… with frequent tachycardia and risk of heart failure hanging over my head while I'm trying to gain weight and keep the baby healthy. She argued with us AGAIN, and then sent us a letter saying she would not continue my care. She even LIED and said we cursed at her when we NEVER DID. I have never seen a more unprofessional and lazy "doctor". INCOMPETENT AND RUDE

I just delivered Jan. 2019. this was my 3rd pregnancy but 1st with this o.b. She is absolutely wonderful my only complaint is that my family is complete and we won't be having more children so I will not be able to see her. She really listens and advocates for what her patients want. By far the best OB I have ever been to.

Dr. Akram has to be one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I've ever gone to. The waiting room might be busy but she's worth the wait. Janet is an absolute charm to deal with on the phone and in the office and Dr. Akram takes care to explain everything. My experiences with her in the office and in the hospital have been hassle free and in this happy yet stressful time, it's all I can ask for. Thank you!

NO Bedside Manner

I kept telling her that I had a urinary tract infection, and she never listened to me, for three months I told her, and the only thing she said was that she was going to send my urine to the lab, and she never did. I had to go to the ER and when I arrived, they said my UTI was very severe, to the point of having a generalized infection, and I was pregnant at the time. They kept me admitted for a few days until it resolved. She didn't listen to me, and if I hadn't gone to the ER I don't know what would have happened, She needs to listen to her patients and follow up on their complaints. She was more worried about me going to see a doctor to get a beautiful ultrasound than sending my urine to the lab.

My entire appointment was very rushed after waiting over an hour to be seen. I got maybe 5 minutes with the Doctor, 3 which were spent with her answering a phone call in front of me!!! Not only was this incredibly rude, but she misdiagnosed me, didn't even look to see if she could find the problem. You think going into a gynecologists office that they are going to be thorough. They didn't even do a Pap smear on me and when I told her a concern I had she basically threw guesses at me and told me to get over the counter medicine, no tests done to confirm that is actually what I have. I will definitely be pursing this terrible practice further and see that it is investigated to some degree.
