Dr. Tahira Yasmeen, MD

I’ve had thyroid issues for 29 years. After an unacceptable wait time, Dr. Yasmeen came in and did not bother to check my referral instead asking me questions pertaining to diabetes. I am not a diabetic. She went on to ask about my sugar levels, my family history of diabetes, etc. She looked displeased when I repeatedly reminded her that I was there for my thyroid. She got agitated when asked questions. She was a poor listener, disorganized, and belittled my previous (now retired) endocrinologist’s treatment plan. Horrible doctor experience.

Dr. Yasmeen is an excellent doctor. I did not know I was diabetic and ended up in the hospital for 3 days. I ended up at the hospital where she sees patients. It was such a blessing that I ended up with her. She helped me get my diabetes under great control. She also got my Thyroid regulated. I had seen great results by following Dr. Yasmeen's recommendations for my healt.

This is a sincere review that I should have written a long time ago. This is an understatment, I am giving Dr. Yasmeen and her staff from a scale of 1-10 and 10. They provide profession and above all exceptional care to all of there patients regardless of economic, religious or social standard. My experience dates back to another doctor who has since left the practice to return to her home country. She was very detailed and aggressive in treating my Hyperactive thyroid. It's very rare to get that type of service from a phycians office that you would hope to get and expecially from a hospital based clinic. The changes that I have seen have greatly benefited the office and provides a wonderful convience to me as a patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Yasmeen and her staff to anyone who is looking for first class care.
