Dr. Taiye Akinwande Ogundipe, MD

I used him for 4 visits to give him the benefit of the doubt after reading his reviews. The reviews are correct, he plays God, unethical, and undermines you. Imposter to get a hold of him in between visits also, he doesn’t have an office anymore and he does even have an assistant. Look somewhere else. I been under care for 17 years, and if I didn’t move to New York I would be fine. This guy is trash for a doctor. Lol. Dude is a joke!

I found Dr. Taiye Akinwande Ogundipe, MD to be very effective in treating my child with special needs. He understands medication very well which gives him the ability to prescribe and tweak doses to fit the patients needs.

Decided what medication I should be on before ever meeting me, not taking into consideration what I was currently on or any of my medical history. Not sure what kind of doctor make decisions about his patience before assessing any information

He was my doctor at an inpatient facility. Treated me terribly, misdiagnosed me, and heavily drugged me to where I have no memory of certain days. I entered inpatient to get help but left extremely traumatized because of this man. Awful and manipulative human being, lied not only to me but to my mother as well. He did not treat me like a human. He acts like he is on a power trip and enjoys abusing mentally ill patients. DO NOT see him as a doctor. He is not looking to help you, he does not care about your wellbeing. By all means, stay away, this man should not have a medical license.

It is hard to describe all that is wrong with this person. Firstly I am a person with PTSD and found him to be incredibly triggering with his arrogant, misogynistic attitude. Several times he walked into my room whilst I was barely dressed and half asleep and continued to speak despite multiple requests to leave my room and come back later. He lies consistently and should always have another medical staff member witness what he is saying. Additionally it is not a good sign when literally EVERY staff member has nothing but bad things to say.

I saw this doctor as an inpatient. He discharged me without looking at my bloodwork and it was very dangerous. As a patient I witnessed this doctor lie under oath in court, he's vindictive and arrogant. BEWARE he is not to be trusted.

I am in psychiatric treatment for quite some time, about 30 years, for Bipolar depression. He came to me by faith I guess, because he was just substituting for a month until a new psychiatrist would start at my Union clinic. I am also suffering from sleep apnea. Not knowing anything about this mysterious new substitute I was just like ok, another one. Well, this was the best Doctor I have ever seen and spoken to. He totally put my lifestyle, medications and even my sleep apnea life upside down!! The changes he made were remarkable, from suggesting different ways, meds and apnea machine, to totally making my live livable again. I have lost ever since ( four months ago) 23 pounds because of the right apnea machine and medications that make me feel clear and alive again. I 1000% recommend this Gentlemen, Doctor, Psychiatrist whit his knowledge in these fields of Psychiatry and Sleep apnea. I said a Gentleman because of his manners and ways of treating and talk to me and making me feel… like This guy cares!! Now my Union clinic/insurance does not cover to see him outside the clinics but I don't care, I rather pay the fee every 3 to 6 months to have him check my "life" and continue to grow positively (and make the Hour and a half train travel to Long Island) then to go back up and and walk on clouds with no where to go. EXCELLENT!!!
