Dr. Tajammul Ehsan, MD

Rud and unprofessional front desk staff. My insurance was verified when I made the appointment two weeks ago. Drove 26 miles to my appointment. When got there I was told the doctor does not accept my insurance. I said the person who made the appointment for me did not say this. I was told that they don't know who talked to me. I was so angry and disappointed. Never go there again.

The receptionists seemed overwhelmed with the full waiting room of patients. The blond receptionist in particular was very rude and unwilling to help. Asked her if I could receive a copy of my test that was completed in the office. She simply said no the doctor is busy. I then asked if she can get the nurse to print me a copy, she responded the nurse is busy as well without leaving her seat to check to verify with the nurse & doctor. As a new patient of Dr. Tajammul, I receive poor service from the receptionists. I believe no patient should be treated like their requests do not matter. The waiting area was so crowded that there was no room for patients to wait. If a doctor cannot service all theses patients he needs to hire more staff.

I find Dr Ehsan to be a very knowledgeable, caring doctor. He is thorough when he answers questions I have during office or hospital visits. And is responsive if I call with any additional concerns. He is also willing to consult with my other doctors to make sure we are all on the same page when it comes to treatments that may affect my neurological condition. I highly recommend him.

I spoke with Dr. Ehsan while his partner, my main doctor, was out of town. Dr. Ehsan was unhelpful and unwilling to see me, even when I told him I had intense pain walking, sitting, or standing. When I asked him what he recommended, he literally said "I don't know what to tell you" and then hung up. In reading other reviews, perhaps he did not take me or my pain seriously because I am female. Either way, he was rude, condescending, and not helpful. Will not be going back.

I once had a mix up and Dr. Ehsan called me himself to clear it up. It was a mix up by the office staff and he did not need to do this, but he did so to ease my mind. this was very kind and above board in my opinion.

Dr. Ehsan is wonderful. He is kind, patient and really listens to what your symptoms are and finds ways to help. He is the only neurologist I have been to that took the time to read through the files and previous paperwork, call another doctor and put all the pieces together.

Overall nice dr. but really bad practice - After over 1 hour wait time (which appears to be the normal) I got my first visit. The Dr. text messaged during the visit, took care of other patients while testing me and overall seemed distracted. I really felt that after waiting over 1 hour, I would get the attention I deserved. In addition, the Dr. was so distracted, he forgot to give me the prescription! This was a critical diagnoses and I felt I did not get the basic consideration. The overall experience was very bad and I do not plan on going back ever.

Simply put this is the worst medical practice I have dealt with. The doctor explains very little and his staff is inept. Botched paperwork caused me to live with horrible sleep apnea for nearly 2 additional months. The night of my sleep study I showed at 10 pm to be greeted by no one. I waited in a dark parking lot until a late arriving technician finally showed. the office hours are until 5 pm...but you will get an answering service most days by 4:30 pm. My advice is get a new doctor as fast as possible.

Dr. Ehsan has been my neurologist since 2003. His care for me has been a blessing! He is very gentle, concerned and compassionate...but stern in making sure you follow his medical advise. He follows through with your health; checking and recheking to make sure nothing was missed! He is not one to grab the prescription pad first! When I have to go to the hospital for any reason and he is called; he does not pass me off to other dr.'s; he comes himself! That is a blessing! In addition, he is in communication with my other Dr.'s who take care of me! We all are on the same page!
