I first met Dr. Ko in 2021 for an unexpected issue with my arm. He listened very intently to what I was saying and quickly sent me to the Susitna Surgery Center. He fixed me all up and then followed up a few times over the next couple of weeks to make sure I was still doing well. Not only is Dr. Ko an excellent surgeon he has the best bed side manor I have ever experienced!. Thank you Dr. Ko for your expertise and kindness.

Dr Ko is a great doctor who cares about his patients. He takes his time and listens to his patients and he is a kind and thoughtful doctor. Which, isn’t always the case, these days. I’m in day 6 of recovery and so far so good.

I had frequent stomach pain, nausea and vomiting for nearly a year, went to many doctors, urgent care and emergency room. No one was able to figure it out. I was finally referred to Dr. Ko. He reviewed all my results and suspected and ordered a HIDA scan. He suspected that I had a gallbladder problem and advised me to have my gallbladder removed with caution that the surgery might not work. I agreed to the surgery and my pain, nausea was gone right after the surgery and I am back to work now. Very thankful!

Excellent surgeon he's kind and the best kind of doctor in an emergency. My situation was dire but, this man inspired confidence and hope in myself and my husband.

Dr. Ko saw me for the first time on 15 Jan 2019. He listened very intently to my concerns and he confidently recommended a procedure. I am a former cancer survivor, so I wanted to ensure that my concerns were properly addressed. Dr. Ko made me very comfortable and took plenty of time to explain everything before and during the procedure. Afterwards, he personally called me to provide the results. I am very pleased with his professionalism and care, so much so that I scheduled an additional surgery with him. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ko and his staff.

I met with him on a Friday for first time; scheduled my surgery for the following week. Problem was he wrote orders no one could read, so Saturday when I went for my pre-op tests, they couldn't read them; called him and he didn't remember me (the patient), what I saw him for or what he wrote. If he can't remember the previous day, I sure don't want him cutting on me and forgetting what he was doing or what he was supposed to remove. Not impressed AT ALL! Do not recommend him at all!

Dr. Ko is very thorough and spend extra time with me and my family to explain things before and after surgery. Will recommend him to all my family and friends.
