Summary
I am a licensed psychiatrist trained in both medication management and psychotherapy to treat a wide variety of psychiatric disorders. Prior to pursuing a career in psychiatry and psychotherapy in the U.S., I also had formal training and extensive clinical experience in primary care medicine in Japan.
With expertise both in psychiatry and primary care medicine, I combine traditional psychiatric treatment and integrative medicine-based treatment to optimize the well-being of the mind and body as a whole. I have a private practice on the Upper West Side and in Edgewater, NJ.
I am also on staff at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, where I am an attending psychiatrist in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, and am an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
