Dr. Talat Deen Ghaus, MD

Dr.G met me when i was at the end of my rope with mental and physical health. she knew what i have done before and knew i was treatment resistant. she listened to me tell my story and had me try TMS. i am halfway through TMS and i am no longer on psychiatric meds, no longer need to smoke marijuana before going to bed and no longer need 4hour ketamine infusions weekly. she is willing to talk to my pain management doctor and work as a team to treat mind and body! thank you dr.G for giving me the energy and love for life again even though i still face some hard physical pain days!

Dr Graus is considerate and sweet however she is in the grip of pharmaceutical companies. She put me on Adderal without testing me for ADD and now, 26 years later, I’m addicted and can’t get off. Her psychiatric advice was more motherly than of any psychiatric value.

Excellent physician. Takes her time to thoroughly review and listen to every single problem or concern. Helps with even the littlest concerns my family has!

I paid over $500 out of my pocket (they dont bill any insurance companies) for a "doctor" who is uneducated, careless, money hungry, and untrustworthy. I would rather throw my money out of a car window than go back here. This doctor sounds more like a scam artist if you ask me, just a warning!!!!!!

My mom had been seeing Dr. Ghaus for years before my family had to go through the extremely painful process of involuntarily checking her into a psychiatric ward.According to the wonderful doctors at Northwestern, my mom's paranoia and disorientation was DUE ENTIRELY TO THE MEDICATION COCKTAIL DR. GHAUS HAD HER ON. She was popping Adderall like it was candy, in addition to about 7 other drugs - ALL prescribed by Dr. Ghaus.The worst part, by far, is that my sister and I made an appointment with Dr. Ghaus a year before my mother deteriorated to this point and told her we were extremely concerned with the amount of medications she was on. Dr. Ghaus dismissed us completely.

I stopped seeing Dr. Ghaus after she prescribed me a potentially fatal combination of medications. Apparently she was under investigation for doing so with other patients. Although she is incredibly nice, the mental health evaluations were, in my opinion, way too simple and she's very quick to prescribe pills for whatever symptoms you list.

If it wasn't for Dr.Ghaus, I honestly believe my daughter would not be alive today.
