I have been seeing Dr,Hays since I was 7yrs old and throughout my entire life ,when I was 43 I moved out west for a couple of years,I moved back to lexington Ky and need a doctor , so I called the office like I have countless times before ,and the lady was rude to me and ask you are going to drive all the way from lexington to see Dr.Hays I said yes I will he is my doctor and she said no we wont do that for you ,you need to see a doctor in lexington and hung up on me..there's been people I know all my life come from afar to see this doctor and I know why he is the best and now I am very sick and have to look for another doctor because of rude office people.this is not fair and very unkind.

I was a patient of Dr. Hays for a number of years until I relocated to another state. He was wonderful, he took the time to actually talk to me about any medical issues I may have had. When I left his office all my questions were answered. He did several of my surgeries, I got excellent care from him and Pineville hospital. I wish there were more like him!

dr hays is a good doctor, i have been seeing him since 2002. he really trys help you the best he can. only bad thing is the waiting time. but most of the time he has a nurse practioner there to see you. his nurse that calls you the back is always a bit hateful lol. other then that dr hayes has been a good doctor to me.

Dr. Hays was a really Great Doctor at one time. Then all the new pills started coming around then all the pill heads.Then it got so crazy you could hardly know who needed them and who didn't. Then Unite or someone started on him as they should have.But he just let all of his patience down the ones that really were in pain were just treated like drug addicts.He has doctored some of these people since 1990 he should know if they need their meds.If he can't write the meds they need he should refer them to good doctors that can treat them.His referrals to pain clinics are a joke..

He is never in his office to see patients. A nurse is all you get.
