I received an epidural from this woman 2 years in a row. I had back to back pregnancies. Last year, she made a comment about how I was having intense contractions for someone who was only 3 cm dilated. Indirectly, she was saying that I had low pain tolerance. This year, she was giving me the epidural and I yelped in pain as she injected me three times in the same spot. Instead of telling me that it would be okay or apologizing, she asked “what’s wrong” in frustration. I told her that she kept jabbing me and I was in pain. I didn’t feel any pain afterwards which is why I will give her two stars but honestly, it’s appalling to me how a woman could have no compassion for another woman laboring.
