Dr. Tamara Gierke graduated from Ball State University in 1994 with a B.S. in Chemistry and continued graduate studies at Ball State earning an M.A in 1995. After working in various capacities as a chemist, she attended Indiana University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2005 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Gierke continued her training at Riley Hospital for Children completing a two year residency in pediatric dentistry earning an MSD degree. After graduation in 2007, Dr. Gierke worked in a public health dental clinic in Bangor, Maine setting up their pediatric dentistry program. In 2008 she joined Bloomington Pediatric Dentistry and in 2011 became a partner in the practice. Dr. Gierke is a member of various pediatric dentistry organizations, an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, and is a Board Eligible candidate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
