Dr. Tamara Cox, MD

I've been a patient of Dr Cox for about 9 years.She provides me with excellent care!! She always answers my questions and takes the time to explain.i I I do and will highly recommend her to anyone, she is a lovely caring Dr. I would never dream of going to another Dr. Doctor Cox Rocks!!¡!!

She is OK when she is in a good mood. But ... she snapped my head off one time when I was trying to explain my problem to her. Very rude. Another time she bad mouthed another patient to me ... one she had just been with before she came into my exam room. Extremely unprofessional. Needless to say, I found myself another primary care doctor.

Dr. Cox is the best doctor I have ever had in my life. She has managed my diabetes in 3 visits. She listens to me and takes the time needed to make me feel better. Her staff are great and her nurse Libby is amazing. I get treated like a rock star every time I go in!!

Dr. Cox took time to listen and treat my problem when other Dr's blew me off. Being a male I was very impressed as I do not like going to the doctor. My family will be using her now. Excellent care!!!

She is always on time and very professional. I always feel like i'm in safe hands with her.

I have never seen this dr in a professional setting but she "volunteered" at a function my children attended. She verbally attacked me in front of the other children and parents. She yelled that she was sorry my children were autistic! They are not, although it wouldn't matter if they were, then said if they weren't that they acted like it. I was shocked, especially since this took place at a church function. She is rude and uncaring. Completely unprofessional.

She has taken very good care of me and my family. She takes time to talk to me and asks about the health of my family when I go in for my check-ups. I never wait more than 15 minutes combined in the waiting & examining room (usually less), which is very unusual in Brownwood.

My children ages (12, 10, 6), my husband and I have had Dr. Cox as our physician for 8 years and we have always been very satisfied with her care. Her staff is professional and friendly. She has a wonderful 'bed-side' manner, and is always thorough and careful in her testing and diagnosis.

My family has gone to Dr. Cox as our family physician for many years!! She is wonderful!!

I went to Dr.Cox at the age of 17 to get my first papsmere done thinking I would be more comfortable with a female doctor. After my exam she was talking sh*t to my mother about me behind my back (as I was getting redressed). She is RUDE, inconsiderate of others, and just a plain b*tch. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone, and I work at a doctors office myself.
