Dr. Tamara Walker Harper, MD

I bring my kids here because the entire staff is kind and professional. They always try to accommodate and recommend other options. Dr. Harper is a true blessing to this profession. It takes a special kind of soul to handle not only ill children but the parents of these kids and I am one of those parents with a lot of questions and my pre-diagnosis before the visit. Dr. Harper has been a blessing to my family and taking care of my babies since my move here three years ago. She is open to questions concerns and ensures my child feels comfortable by asking them the questions directly. I have never had a bad experience and I am a difficult parent when my kids are sick. I highly recommend her and her staff go above and beyond to ensure they do all they can for you. And the new office with the beautiful art and educational variety of books always help put my kids a little at ease before they see the doctor.

I love Dr. Hamper and her staff!! They are always friendly. I have been getting great service and care for ten years!!! Sometimes the wait time is long but I will wait for her any day of the week!! She talks to my boy and truly cares about him. She always remembers what he told her on last visit and asked about new activities.

The entire staff is friendly and puts you at ease. Dr. Harper is considerate, knowledgeable and puts the kids at ease so that they can open up and discuss any issues they have. Dr. Harper was highly recommended and I highly recommend her.

The staff is garbage. They are rude, unprofessional and NO common courtesy. Appt scheduled is months out, no patience, and just plain rude.

Dr Harper has been our Peditrician for both of our children. Our youngest is special needs & Dr Harper has always been thorough, compassionate & has even followed up with after hours phone calls. I can't say enough good things about her.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Harper. We were lucky enough to get her as our pediatrician at the hospital when our son was born and decided immediately to keep her! Being first time parents we have lots of questions and sometimes silly concerns. She and her staff are always available to answer them and have never made us feel "dumb" for being concerned. He is now one, and we have never had a bad experience. She is very thorough with her evaluations and never rushes through an appointment. I've heard horror stories from friends about their pediatricians and am so thankful we have never had to endure any of those with Dr. Harper. I highly recommend her to anyone who is searching in the area!

I can not say enough about Dr. Harper. As a mom, it is so comforting to know that someone cares as much about your child's health as you do. Dr. Harper is excellent at explaining things and is never dismissive at a concern you have. She spends as much time as is needed and you never feel rushed. She is also great about returning or having her nurse return phone calls in a prompt manner. I have friends who have horror stories about insensitive pediatricians. I have no doubt we will not be experiencing any of those instances. I highly recommend giving her a try - if you can get on her caseload. She's pretty hard to get in with, we were very lucky!

Dr. Harper is an excellent pediatrician. She goes above and beyond the call of duty. When establishing a diagnosis she leaves no stone unturned. She is an excellent communicator. She exudes warmth and friendliness, which makes for ease in asking questions and getting answers that are easily understood. Also the office staff exemplifes the utmost professionalism. I would recommend Dr. Harper to all in need of a pediatrician.

Dr Harper is a wonderful doctor. If i could rate her higher i would. There need to be more doctors like her in the world. She is very personable, very friendly, professional, she makes th echild and parent feel very comfortable. I am overjoyed to have Dr. Harper as my childs pediatrician. She truly cares for my child from the heart. She is the most down to earth, compassionate doctor i have ever met. There is always a smile on her face no matter how hard her day has been. Some doctors make you feel that it's all about the dollar bill but, Dr. Harper does not. She is passionate about her profession and every ounce of her passion shines through.
