Dr. Tamara Lynn Hoffman, DO

Dr. Hoffman is friendly, empathetic, and understanding. She knows that I am a minimalist when it comes to taking prescription medications and doesn't try to force them on me. She is prompt, always listens to my concerns and willingly explains anything I may not understand.

Dr. Hoffman is up-to-date, very intelligent and has wonderful bedside manners. I hate to even say how wonderful she is because then EVERYONE is going to want her for their doctor!! Her partners are very good physicians,as well. Dr. Hoffman listens to you then comes up with a plan of attack and really puts effort into helping her patients. It is obvious that she and her partners really care about the health and well being of their patients. Dr. Hoffman is acutely aware of lesser known disorders and is able to treat them accurately. She goes above and beyond for her patients and my family and I are so grateful that she has come to Windber! We are all very fortunate and really appreciate her expertise and that of the entire group. Her secretary and staff are also excellent and take the time to listen, jot things down and get back to you with a response in a timely fashion. Dr. Hoffman is amazing!

Dr. Hoffman is not only very educated, but she is very compassionate and works very hard to resolve her patients' health issues. She keeps herself up to date and well informed on unique health problems which aid her treatment and diagnosis methods. Dr. Hoffman is an excellent physician and we are very fortunate that she is in our area! Her fellow physicians in the group are very good, as well! They are all very thorough and always keep in mind that the patient' s health is of utmost importance. Dr. Hoffman is wonderful! She is Windber' s best kept secret! I shouldn't even let it out of the bag how great she is, because them I will have difficulties getting an appointment!!!
