Dr. Tamara Salam Housman, MD

This office made me feel my surgery was there most important appointment. Dr Houseman was professional and personable.

Has done surgery and will be going back for another Monday. Would recommend. August 4, 2017/

Dr. Housman was extremely nice and answered all my questions. My only issues are that she said to call if I ever had any questions. Well I had a follow up questions and that was 2 months ago and still no return call. The other issue is that Dr. Housman asked for a consult with another physician concerning my lab results, but never informed me that I would receive another bill for such consult. When I called and asked about it, the office manager Brian, informed me that I should be glad that I only got a bill for $107.00 and that I didn't need surgery. I will not go into details of the entire conversation, but he was very hostile and acted like I was aggravating by even calling the office with this matter. I did ask for a copy of the consult and he told me to get it from the other physician directly. Until I received the invoice, I didn't know who that was.

I would recommend Dr. Tamara Houseman! First surgery was directly beneath my eye! I was so nervous, but Dr. Houseman and her staff put me at ease, and ensured me I would be okay! After sutures were removed, it's difficult to see where the incision was.

Dr. Houseman has been very helpful in understanding the diagnosis as well as the treatment of skin cancer. I appreciate her professionalism as well as her great bedside manner. Her assistants have also been great.

Having cancer on the face is scary. I had Mohs surgery by Dr. Housman and it couldn't have gone better. The tissue removed near my eye was about the diameter of a quarter and 1/8th inch deep. I felt no pain during the surgery and little pain during recovery. There was no bruising. My stitches were removed yesterday and that went fine, too. I would highly recommend Dr. Housman to anyone who needs Mohs surgery.
