Tamara Threlkeld Pistoria, DO

Dr. Tamara Pistoria is a board-certified Pediatrician with over two decades of experience. She cares for patients ages 0-18. Dr. Pistoria is passionate about education and believes in teaching parents to better understand disease processes, medication risks and benefits, and the natural course of an illness, so they are better able to keep their family healthy.

Dr. Pistoria earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Pistoria cares for patients at the Winter Haven Campus.

I enjoy watching children grow and seeing who they become.

My goal is to prevent illness when I can and treat illnesses to restore health.

I am married and have 5 children.

What childhood memory do you have about visiting the doctor?
My pediatrician made every child feel like they were the smartest, cutest child. He also had a Dum Dum tree that held lollipops for after your visit.
