Dr. Schwartz is a good listener. She treats her patients with a great deal of respect

I appreciate Dr. Schwartz' direct and own to earth manner. She is obviously intelligent and analytical in her thinking. She is also personable and pleasant. She is quick to explain what she is doing, what she is thinking about my situation and she sums it all up at the end of the visit AND gives me a copy of her notes. I agree with the other patient who said she wished her primary care doc were as efficient and competent!

I had seen the review on this website and wondered how I would assess this visit. Dr. Schwartz came in and shook hands with me and my husband. She listened carefully to what I said and asked me questions about my issues.She did her testing. When finished, she explained her findings. She was very thorough and very willing to answer questions.My husband and I were pleased. She is a young doctor and she was very respectful. She also wanted to see what my primary care physician would say.At the end she walked us out and shook hands again. She helped to set up my appointments and testing. We went to MMC to get blood tests. Everything was in place for those tests.Dr. Schwartz speaks a little more rapidly than some. However, I did not find this troubling because she continually answered my questions and left me feeling that my issues would be resolved.

No bedside manner, loves to inflict pain and when asked about on going pain management got teh response, "I'm not a pain specialist" and a dumb look.

She seems knowledgeable enough but she does not come across as very caring. Doesn't explain much. Difficult to reach if one has follow-up questions. Her nurse phones me back and she is helpful but I am frustrated that my condition just seems to worsen without her invested concern or interest.
