Dr. Chavis is a wonderful, caring physician. She operated on my wrists, and cleared up the carpel tunnel issues that were causing me problems. So, when I developed a serious neck problem, and needed a spinal fusion, I of course asked her to do that surgery as well. Dr. Chavis is a soft-spoken, kind lady, who cares tremendously about her patients. She is very well thought of by many physicians in this area, and I have recommended her to many friends. I had the spinal surgery several weeks ago, and the recovery was very quick. I will always go to Dr. Chavis if I need nuero, or related, surgery.

After Exam she felt c 4,c 5,c6 was my problem.. She removed two disc ,installed two plates & fused neck Within a week or so realized my Nerve pain was gone .. She's Awesome. .....

wrong diagnosis, botched surgery had to be re-done by another surgeon that confirmed the mistakes.

I was very relieved that I didn't let the negative reviews reflect on my decision to keep my appointment. Truthfully how many of us will take the time to say something nice about someone. I will from here on out. Dr. Chavis spoke to me and my husband in a very soft tone, asked many questions so she could understand everything I had concerns with. My husband is a" all the good Doctors are in Houston" believer. That is until now. I don't know if I will need surgery in the future,or if I can be treated with medications. But I am so relieved I can stay in Beaumont for whatever does happen.

This dr operated on my neck, and I have not been right since. After she operates on you, she gets an arrogant attitude, and she will not listen to what is still wrong. She will not listen, She literally got up and walked out of the exam room while I trying explain to her what was wrong with me. Please choose your dr wisely.
