Dr. Tami Herring-Sahni was born in San Marcos, TX. Growing up in New Braunfels, Dr. Tami has many memories of the area and especially her mother’s dental practice. She graduated from New Braunfels High School in 1990 then furthered her education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock graduating in 1994 with Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Tami went to dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and graduated in 1999. She then completed a Hospital Residency at Hermann Hospital in 2000. Dr. Tami has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years now.
Dr. Tami met her husband while they were both living in Houston. Dr. Irvin Sahni was doing his orthopedic residency at Baylor while she was in dental school. They got married in 2000 and moved to New Braunfels in 2003.
Dr. Tami worked full time here at Herring Family Dental until her daughter Saura was born in 2007. In 2009 she had twin boys, Kolton and Konner. Dr. …Tami now practices dentistry part time so that she can be a full time mom. She enjoys cooking, traveling and reading as well as spending time with her children. Dr. Tami looks forward to coming back to Herring Family Dental full time once her children start school. For now, Dr. Tami wants to enjoy the happy and healthy family that she and her husband have been blessed with.
Dr. Tami is a member of the United Methodist Church, Moms of Preschoolers, River District Dental Society, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and American Society of Specialty Dentistry.
