Dr. Tamir Yosef Hersonskey, MD

I would travel as far as I need to have him as my neurosurgeon again, I've been a nurse for 32 yrs have worked with and been treated by many Drs but this man goes above and beyond, will explain, honest, and very through with his exams, and his reputation as great as it is doesn't give him justice. All of the hospital staff have a great deal of respect for him and I have to say this was the first time I ever went into a surgery feeling safe and very little fear, the hospital truly has a diamond , and someone blessed, hopefully they realize that, I thank this Dr with my whole heart for helping me.

First time for this type of care. Dr & Staff were very professional. Was shorter procedure than planned and went well.

Don't care for this doctor many test 5 office visits 5copays said hospital will call me for more test never call this about 2month's ago. He just hope I don't call.back your right I won't I'm still in pain with no help from this guy. Instead of telling me my backs to bad to operate he drags me on.would not recommend this guy for anyone stay away.

In 2010, I had a brain tumor as a junior in high school. I was undeniably scared as a teenager. I had originally went to a different doctor for spine pain after a swimming accident, but they transferred me to Hersonskey after they discovered it. He was with me every step of the way, and made me feel comfortable with my diagnosis. He always stayed as long as I needed and answered every question. If i ever had to go through this again, I'd choose him as my doctor again. I had the best pre and post care from them.

My wife was suffering with severe pain on her legs for 10 months she was diagnosed with diabetic neuropathy, she was being treated with different neuropathy medication, nothing worked. I looked for a neurologist for second opinion. After 2 MRI's the problem was found, the neurologist referred us to Dr. Hersonskey who found problem with spinal cord. After surgery my wife was able to walk with no pain on her legs. I'm very grateful to Dr. Hersonskey for his compassion, empathy, bedside manner and overall care that he provided.

I am having back surgery the end of October. I have put this surgery off for years. After many steroid injections, physical therapy and pain medication, I feel surgery is the only way I will be able to live the remainder of my life to its fullest. I was very comfortable with Dr. Hersonskey, he explained the procedure and the recovery. He has a great bedside manner, along with answering every question I had.

I dont really know this man but i see him at Presence St. Joes (where i work as a patient transporter) often and you can tell he really has an amazing genuine care for people. Like some of......alot of the doctors here come off as snobby but not Hersonskey...he's special. We are lucky to have such a caring man.

He has phenomenal skills, kindness, and compassion. The office staff are fabulous, and I am having a wonderful recovery. In my opinion, he is the BEST!!!! Thank you so much, Dr. Hersonskey...

Excellent Doctor very professional

Dr. Hersonskey is one of the very few doctors (that I have had the experience of visiting) that is the most caring, sensitive, and excellent doctors. He is very intelligent but doesn't let it go to his head. He is very down-to-earth and a superb doctor. He should receive EVERY award that is out there for doctors. He tops them all!
