Dr. Tamir Abraham Miloh, MD

Dr Miloh is a great doctor , very experience and a wonderful / amazing human being.

My adolescent son developed sudden acute hepatitis and to this day we do not know why. After only weeks into this ordeal we were watching our child deteriorate and sent to Texas Children's Hospital. He was put on a transplant waiting list which we were told could be months to years long. Dr. Miloh came in to check on him daily and a few weeks into being on the waiting list he noticed very early signs of Hepatic encephalopathy which is brain damage due to liver dysfunction. At this point he was able to be put on status1 which puts a child at the top of the list because the situation is grave and a prognosis of days to weeks to live. He received a whole liver transplant from a doner on life support one week later. I believe if we had been in any other hospital with any other doctor my sons outcome could have been very different. I owe Dr. Miloh more than i could ever express and am very grateful for him everyday I see my son running around like all the other kids.
